Visual Artist, born on March 15, 1970, in Sétif, Initiated into art by her late father, an architect by training, from a young age. After pursuing university studies in English, she launched her artistic career and set up her own studio. An exhibitor both nationally and internationally, she has received several accolades, including the Creativity Medal of the Arab World in Dubai in 2016. She conducts research on Algerian identity by exploring the aesthetic and historical aspects of Tassili n’Ajjer, an iconic region in southern Algeria. Fascinated by ancient civilizations, she recreates through her art the remnants of our ancestors dating back 3,000 years BCE. This approach to revitalizing rock art forms, through her paintings and sculptures, invites reflection on time and memory.
