About

Veronica Botticelli develops a body of work where the image, suspended in silence, unfolds across structured fields of colour. She incorporates paper merging with canvas, creating palimpsests of layers, erasures and absences that evoke memory and time. Her supports—sheets, canvases or envelopes—become repositories of intimate and collective nostalgia. Her work has been shown at CIAC Genazzano, Stadtgalerie Kiel, Museum Biedermann, and in exhibitions in New York, Paris and beyond. She collaborated with curator Fabio Sargentini for a solo show at Galleria L’Attico in Rome. Winner of the National Visual Arts Competition ANMIL and INAIL, and recipient of the Youth Prize from Accademia Nazionale di San Luca, she was also a Terna Prize finalist and listed among “222 Emerging Artists to Invest In,” selected by curators, critics, and journalists.
