Hanadi Al-Darwish is a qatari artist based, she earned a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Qatar University (1995) and has held leadership roles including director of the visual arts centre at the ministry of culture (2013–2016), vice president of the qatari fine arts association (2006–2009), and head of the girls creativity centre (2008–2012). Her work has been exhibited internationally, with highlights including the MENA Art Fair in Paris (2022), Carthage days (2019) as the first qatari artist participant, and guest of honour at the ninth international art forum in Serbia (2016). She has collaborated with cap Kuwait, Katara art centre, and al Markhiya gallery, and served as a juror for major competitions. In 2019 she founded dar hessa for arts, an arts and cultural initiative in Qatar.
