Ojulowo Kolawole is a multidisciplinary artist and painter from Ajegunle, Lagos, Nigeria. Influenced by the vibrant creativity of his community and the surrealist works of Rotimi Akinre, his practice blends semi-abstract forms and proverbial titles to explore themes of identity, community, and human connection. Through a fusion of language, culture, and narrative, Kolawole reflects on the diversity and richness of human experience, using artifacts and cultural symbols as gateways to deeper understanding. His work has been featured in several solo and group exhibitions both in Nigeria and internationally.
