Omar Al Shahabi (b. 1983, iraq) is a contemporary artist based in Doha/ Qatar. A graduate of the University of Baghdad with a DFA in 2007, he has held solo exhibitions in Doha, Amman, and Damascus, and participated in numerous group shows across the middle east. His work, often centered on the human form, reflects layered narratives of identity and experience, establishing him as a distinct voice in the regional art scene.
