Born in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, in 1970, Xia Keliang is an associate professor at the China Academy of Art and a master’s degree supervisor. He is a member of the Chinese Artists Association, director of the Hand-Painted Art Research Center of the National Design Committee, and editor-in-chief of Chinese Hand-Painting magazine. His works were selected for the 9th, 12th, and 14th China National Art Exhibitions, the 3rd to 5th China National Watercolor Powder Painting Exhibitions, and the 59th Bologna Illustration Exhibition in 2025. He has published dozens of art collections, such as Architectural Pen-Painting by Xia Keliang, and has planned and organized large-scale exhibitions, including the National Hand-Painted Art Exhibition in China.
