Yusuf Durodola is a distinguished Nigerian visual artist, researcher, and educator whose practice spans painting, recycling art, performance, and curatorial projects. A Guinness World Record holder for the largest painting by number with École de Dessin, Lagos, he lectures in painting at the Federal College of Education (Technical), Akoka, and founded the Artegun Foundation to nurture young artists and advance curatorial practice. Born in Ibadan in 1979, Durodola studied painting and graphics at the Federal College of Education (Technical), Akoka, earned a BA in Visual Arts from the University of Lagos, an MA from Obafemi Awolowo University, and is pursuing a doctorate at Olabisi Onabanjo University. His works, known for their strong visual language, were featured in Netflix’s Blood Sisters (2022) and are housed in leading galleries across Nigeria, South Africa, Russia, the USA, and private collections worldwide.
