Hakim Tounsi, a graduate of the National School of Fine Arts, specializing in visual communication in 1992. After a brief experience as a drawing teacher in high school, he left Algeria to settle in France to enrich his artistic knowledge. Between the 1990s and 2000s, he participated in several international artistic events, notably at the Biennale of Young Creators in Valencia, Spain. He won first prize in drawing at the Pictorial Competition in Rosny-sous-Bois, France. He has been part of various group exhibitions, including one at the City Hall of the 17th Arrondissement of Paris, at the Algerian Cultural Center in Paris, and at national cultural events. In 2021, he was invited by the AARC for an exhibition at Dar Abdelatif, marking his return to Algeria. Since then, he has been a permanent artist at Aïda Gallery.
