Djeffal Adlane is a painter whose work explores the human condition through its zones of fragility and resilience. His fragmented figures express the tension between presence and absence, strength and vulnerability. Through expressive drawing and a palette that is both soft and vibrant, he conveys the profound emotions of being, between silence and movement. A former member of the Essebaghine collective, he has participated in numerous exhibitions in Algeria and abroad, notably at the Musée de Saint-Paul de Vence, the Salon des Arts Plastiques de Carthage, and the Bibliothèque Nationale d’Alger, as well as residencies in France and Algeria. As director of the École des Beaux-Arts in Mostaganem for several years, he trained young artists and transmitted a sensitive, humanistic vision of contemporary creation.
