Born in 1971 in Batna, Azzouzi Lamine is a contemporary Algerian artist and painter. In 1989, he studied at the Fine Arts School in his hometown to acquire the necessary skills. He then moved to the capital to continue his postgraduate studies at the Higher School of Fine Arts, aiming to broaden his artistic culture. He developed the ability to master a style of hyper-realism, and most of his paintings are characterized by very modern themes. Azzouzi has won numerous awards. In 2007, he took first place for the best oil painting. In 2021, he achieved second place and the silver medal from the French Academy of Arts for the best painting.
