Nathalie Djakou Kassi is a visual artist based in Lagos, Nigeria, with over 25 years of experience in ceramics, sculpture, and mixed media. She began her studio practice in 1998 and served as an instructor at the Institut de Formation Artistique in Mbalmayo, Cameroon, where she introduced the material technology course. Nathalie became the chief manager of the ceramic studio at the Centre d’Art Appliqué and founded the ceramics group Deceram in 2013. Djakou has held numerous exhibitions in Abuja and Lagos, and has also exhibited internationally in New York, the UK, Dubai, Paris, and China.
