At 13, Imad Habbab began his artistic journey in Damascus, later graduating from the Faculty of Fine Arts in 2011. Impressionism deeply influenced his vibrant, color-rich style. After leaving Syria in 2012 due to the war, he moved to Lebanon, where trauma and memory led him to explore the concept of explosion—contrasting fleeting destruction with enduring human values. In 2014, he developed Civilian Spectrums, examining identity, place, and human traces. Relocating to Istanbul in 2015, he found fresh inspiration before settling in Belgium. Now an internationally exhibited artist, his work has been showcased across the Middle East, Europe, and the US, with his latest solo exhibition held in Dubai in 2025.
