Ghedjati Abdullah Mustafa, born in 1953 in Sétif, had his interest in art beginning in childhood, during which time he was greatly encouraged by his family, teachers, and professors. His first exposition took place in Sétif in 1977, and during that time, he was engaged in research in the field of art, where he met several well-known artists. In 1981, he became a professor of education and art at the University of Sétif and was responsible for the International Sétif Meeting. His first individual exhibition was in 1986 at Farhat Abbas University in Sétif, followed by other exhibitions at the Maison de Culture and the National Museum. Since that time, he has organized several individual exhibitions inside and outside the country: France, Morocco, Turkey, Romania, Tunisia, Egypt, and the Gulf countries.
