Nour Shamma is a Palestinian-Swedish emerging artist born in Stockholm in 1993. Nour received her bachelor’s degree in Business and Philosophy from Birzeit University in 2016, then turned to visual arts and completed her three-year study at the Visual Arts Forum, Ramallah, in 2023. Her artistic production focuses on painting and drawing. In her work, she addresses everyday practices and the emotions associated with them, seeking to highlight the simple and profound aspects of the human experience. Her project Earth explores the expression of the movement and development of the surrounding, the constant transformation and reproduction of the scene, offering glimpses of solid transformation.
