The Christophe Person Gallery, located in Paris and Brussels, represents artists from Africa and its diaspora whose works engage with global art history while reflecting personal and social narratives. Founded by Christophe Person, whose extensive travels across Africa shaped his curatorial vision, the gallery highlights the richness and diversity of the continent’s contemporary art scene. Since 2016, Person has redefined auctions through curated sales that reveal overlooked geographies and histories. Distinguishing itself by promoting originality over commercial repetition, the gallery champions bold, inventive practices. Beyond Paris, Person is co-founder and co-president of BISO, the Ouagadougou International Sculpture Biennial, alongside Burkinabe photographer Nyaba Léon Ouédraogo.
